Welcome to Singapore!
What Singapore lacks in size it more than makes up for in culture, street life, futuristic skyscrapers, luxury hotels, elegant temples, and grand colonial buildings. This tiny island state measures just 50 km from east to west and 27 km from north to south with 193 km of coastline.
Although its history stretches back thousands of years, modern Singapore was founded in 1819 when the British governor, Sir Stamford Raffles, landed in Singapore and established it as a trading post for the British East India Company.
Meet and greet at the airport with an English-speaking guide and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 3 SEPTEMBER 25, 2024 - SINGAPORE

See the city’s colonial heritage as we drive around the Civic District past the Padang, the Cricket Club, Parliament House and the National Gallery Singapore. Stop at the Merlion Park for great views of Marina Bay and a picture-taking opportunity with the Merlion, a mythological creature that is part lion and part fish. The tour continues with a visit to the Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of the oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples on the island, built with donation from the early immigrant workers from China before driving past Chinatown. From there we proceed to the National Orchid Garden, located within the Singapore Botanic Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which boasts a sprawling display of 60,000 orchid plants comprising of 400 species and more than 2,000 hybrids.
Board a river boat for a 30-minute ride (share-basis) through a kaleidoscope of historic river and harbour the ‘godown’ warehouses, the shophouses, the six bridges built by the British and the gracious building of the old waterfront set against the towering skyline of the new business district.
Kampong Glam, a Malay enclave with a blend of history, culture and a super-trendy lifestyle. There is the famous Sultan Mosque built in 1928 with the massive golden domes and huge prayer hall. There is also the colourful Haji Lane with its quirky boutiques as well as shops selling Persian carpets, kebaya dresses and handmade perfume.
Our final stop at Little India will enthrall you with the scent of spices, jasmine, orchid garlands and exotic fruits.

DAY 6 SEPTEMBER 28, 2024 - ENCHANTING UBUD,BALI

Spend a full day exploring the best of Ubud, Bali’s cultural heart, and discover inspiring views, traditional homes, cheeky wildlife, and intricate arts and crafts.
The first stop is at Batuan village to visit a traditional Balinese house to understand its unique architectural traditions. According to the Hindu religion, every object in the universe has an ideal location to gain harmony therefore the family shrines, kitchen, rice barn and other rooms are designed and placed according to these principles. Drive further north to the iconic rice terraces of Tegallalang, where lush green paddies create a stunning patchwork on the side of the hills and take a short walk through the intricately designed terraces. Next, visit Ubud Palace, the home of the local royal family standing in the heart of the town. Take a walk through the nearby Ubud Market among the colourful stalls of wood carvings, textiles and souvenirs. After lunch, continue to Puri Lukisan Museum, the oldest art museum in Bali. Here you can admire an array of contemporary paintings and wood carvings from prominent Balinese artists. Finally, visit Ubud Monkey Forest, a sanctuary for the malevolent but photogenic long tail macaques. Walk through the forest and temple where mischievous monkeys roam freely. On the far side of the forest, the car will be waiting to drive you back to the hotel.

DAY 7 SEPTEMBER 29, 2024 - EAST BALI HIGHLIGHTS

Head east and discover rice terraces, sleepy villages, ancient temples and towering volcanoes. In the morning meet your guide and driver and set off towards the east of the island. Stop in the quaint and very well-kept countryside village of Penglipuran. Walk along the narrow streets to see the traditional Balinese houses with their typical entrance gates and unique architectural traditions. Continue to the western slopes of Mount Agung where Besakih, the Mother Temple is located. This stunning complex of temples is the most sacred in Bali and is visited at least once a year by all Balinese Hindus for special ceremonies. Lunch is taken in a local restaurant with view of rice fields and the backdrop of Mount Agung. After lunch, take a walk-through Sidemen, a rural area known for its beautiful landscapes and traditional weaving. Visit a fruit plantation to see the unusual salak fruit also called snake skin fruit. The last stop is at Klungkung to visit the former Royal Courts of Justice known as Kerta Gosa. The highlight here is the unique and elaborately decorated ceiling painting depicting the battle of good versus evil.

DAY 8 SEPTEMBER 30, 2024 - UBUD, BALI - FREE TIME

Experience a hands-on cooking class and whip up some delicious traditional Balinese dishes.
The morning starts by meeting your host and the other guests joining the class. Together stroll around the colorful local market in Ubud where the local’s bargain for the best produce. Browse the stalls piled high with colorful vegetables, tropical fruits, exotic spices and fragrant herbs. The host will explain the different produce on offer, how it is used in Indonesian cuisine, and will offer tips on selecting the best ingredients. Back at the cooking class, you will be shown how to recreate age old traditional dishes using curries, sambal and the freshest seasonal vegetables. The class is completely hands on so you will grind the different spices and learn how to use the various utensils. The class ends with a delicious lunch where you get to enjoy your own lavish homemade Balinese feast.

Trek up the highest peak of Bali’s sacred mountain and witness a glorious sunrise over a volcanic crater.
Set your alarm clock and in the very early hours of the morning depart from your hotel to the starting point at the base of Mount Batur. The friendly guide will be there to welcome you, provide you with the necessary equipment, and take you through a thorough safety briefing. Then turn on your flashlights and set off in the cool, early morning darkness. The first section takes you uphill through volcanic ash, sand and small rocks. Continue ascending to the top of the crater where the terrain becomes windswept with fewer rocks and vegetation. Relax at the summit with a simple breakfast while witnessing the sunrise and the stunning morning views of Mount Abang and Mount Agung. On clear days it is even possible to view Lombok’s Mount Rinjani in the distance across the Lombok Strait. Walk to another crater rim before descending along the same path you climbed in the dark, this time being able to enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding landscape and Lake Batur. You can even see some of the lava flows and their path of destruction from the most recent eruption. At the bottom take a well-earned dip in a hot spring before returning to your hotel.

DAY 11 OCTOBER 3, 2024 - GATE OF HEAVEN

In this tour we will visit one of the most respected temples in Bali, which is Penataran Agung Lempuyang Temple. Located on the slopes of Mount Lempuyang in East Bali, the Lempuyang Temples complex according to Balinese belief, is an important point of the island and is meant to provide spiritual balance for the island, besides being one of six holiest places of worship in Bali.
Standing high at 600 meters above sea level, admire the solemn atmosphere in this temple, with amazing view down the valley and sky to heaven. Capture you moment standing at the temple gate where there is only emptiness before you, as if it’s the Gate of Heaven. Only blue sky, and Mount Agung in the distance with thin clouds that shades the mountains.
Next visit is Tirtagangga water garden, a maze of pools and fountains surrounded by a lush garden, stone carvings and statues. The one-hectare complex was built in 1946 by the late King of Karangsem but was destroyed almost entirely by the eruption of nearby Mount Agung in 1963. It has been lovingly rebuilt and restored and has an air of authentic royal magnificence.

Wander through the vicinity town of Mataram, and visit some historical places that feature evidences on the presence of Hinduism and the influences resulted in local community e.g., local cultures and traditions.

DAY 14 OCTOBER 6, 2024 - LOMBOK - FREE TIME

Are you ready to get wet? Then be prepared at the lobby hotel and you will get picked up for your today snorkeling trip to the three sisters Gili Islands. Drive to the Teluk Kode harbor through the winding road (a short stop can be made to take a picture of a monkey beside the road). Upon arrival in Teluk Kode, hop on a private glass bottom boat that will take you to Gili Trawangan. Gili Trawangan is fringed by turquoise waters and coral reefs, is among the most popular tourist destinations in Indonesia, and indeed, one of the best snorkeling areas in Indonesia if not in Southeast Asia. The crystal-clear waters of these paradisiacal islands, here turtle-watching is the star attraction, guarantee exceptional snorkeling experiences. After snorkeling in Turtle Point, we can go offshore of Gili Trawangan, where you can just simply relax or wander around the island. Continue to Gili Meno Island, you will be snorkeling to see a group of 48 life-size human sculptures, formed in a circle, situated around 100 meters offshore of Gili Meno, It is a project called ‘Nest’ by sculptor and underwater photographer Jason DeCaires Taylor. Then continue to a nearby shipwreck. After snorkeling in The Nest Sculptor and Shipwreck, we will enjoy a young coconut on the beach of Gili Meno. Afterward, you can have some free time on the island, relaxing or going to the turtle foundation to see baby turtles. After enough rest we will continue to the last snorkeling spot in Gili Air, it is called a fish garden where an abundance of fishes is around and you can feed them and snorkel around them. Lunch will be served at the local restaurants on Gili Island. After this memorable snorkeling experience, return to the hotel.

DAY 15 OCTOBER 7, 2024 - SENGGIGI - BANGSAL - SERANGAN - SANUR

Check out from the hotel and be transferred to Bangsal then board on a speed boat to Serangan pier in Bali.
Upon arrival in Serangan pier, you will be warmly welcomed by our local guide then transfer to Sanur beach for check-in and overnight.

DAY 21 OCTOBER 13, 2024 - ULUWATU, KECAK DANCE AND SEAFOOD DINNER ON THE BEACH

Experience an evening of Kecak dancing at a cliff top temple followed by a barbeque seafood dinner under the stars. In the late afternoon you will be taken to the location of the famous cliff hanging temple at Uluwatu. Perched on the edge of a steep cliff, the temple sits 70 metres above the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean. The temple is inhabited by a large number of monkeys, many of whom can be found roaming the pathways. As the sun sets over the glittering ocean, watch a dramatic Kecak Dance or Ramayana Monkey Chant performance at the temple. Wearing traditional checked cloth around their waists, the male dancers chant in unison while depicting a battle from the Ramayana. After the performance drive to one of the beautiful beaches in Jimbaran for a barbeque seafood dinner in a beach warung. Feast on a succulent seafood platter including prawns, grilled fish, squid and clams. Try same kangkung, also known as Indonesian water spinach, and add some heat in the form of sambal, the spicy Indonesian sauce.
